About the Workshop

To provide schedule flexibility and work-at-your-best-pace options, you are encouraged to join us for as much of the 4-hour live lesson as you are able and/or watch the recorded sessions at your own pace.

Live Session Dates:
+Session 1: Saturday, September 17th, 10 am-2pm PT
+Session 2: Saturday, October 22nd 10am-2pm PT

  • Part 1: Getting Started - The first hour will focus on creating your own checklist, plan and priorities. (10-11am PT)

  • Part 2: Estate Planning Basics - The second hour will cover the foundational decisions and designations to make in your legal documents, frequently your will, power of attorney and living will/ACD (11am-noon PT)

  • Part 3: Money & Insurance - The third hour will cover getting your financial plans & insurance policies in order to support your end of life planning priorities and conversations. (Noon-1pm PT)

  • Part 4: Digital Legacy & Wrap Up - Finally, how to safely store, save and share your important details and documents and complete the remaining items on your todo list! (1-2pm PT )

Four years after my husband was killed in an accident. I had mostly gotten my sh-t together (completed my will and power of attorney documents, created an emergency fund, got more life insurance, specified my end-of-life wishes, recorded important account and password information, etc.) and encouraged my parents, friends (and the whole world via my website Get Your Sh*t Together) to make it easier on everyone after they die, too.
